How many roots does a polynomial have of degree 6 have?

Any polynomial with the biggest degree of 6 will have 6 roots. 

Let's look at quadratics, the biggest degree of the equation is 2 and there are 2 possible solutions (double solutions or non-existant ones count as well). It is quite the same for any other degree of a polynomial.
