A summary doesn't always need to be revised but it helps allow you to find any errors or mistakes you may have overlooked. It makes your paper look more professional when you don't have mistakes. Not to mention the other person might suggest better phrases or words to replace some with to make it look better.
In the end it is all to make your paper better, no matter what the paper is for.
