It allows you to choose exactly what you would like into each paragraph. It divides each section of the paper into different areas so you can focus on one topic only in that paragraph rather than being all over
It helps you categorize the main points. Also to organize the paragraphs in order so it makes sense. It makes sure your paragraphs and/or ideas are developed fully. It helps you so you dont get stuck when writing out the actual essay.
