Bulleted lists take things step by step. Each bullet should isolate a fact.

Reading a bullet list is simple in that it provides the reader with mere tidbits of information, which helps a lot of people (myself included!) retain information!

So bulleted lists a) isolate facts by b) stripping them to the bare essentials. It's much easier to understand something without all the jargon!
