Hi there!

Mass relates to momentum because
the heavier the object is, the more energy ît takes to make it start moving and make it stop. For example, if I had a 20 pound object and a 50 pound object, the 50 pound object would travel less than the 20 pound object when the same amount of force is exerted on it.

Hope this helps!
