You'll subtract the 24 to the other side, causing it to be negative.
Ask yourself.. What plus what equals a positive two, but gives me a negative 24? well, 24 breaks into 12 and 2, or 6 and 4. well 12 subtracted by 2 does not get me 2, it gives me ten. but a positive 6 subtracted by 4 gives me a positive 2, and negative 24.
