f(x) = log(x) . . . FALSE
f(x) = log(x -4) +1 . . . TRUE
f(x) = log(x -2)
f(x) = log(x +2) . . . FALSE
f(x) = 2log(x) . . . FALSE . . . . . the graph looks more like 3log(x)
