If you would like to know the unit rate, you can calculate this using the following steps:

1/8 of a mile ... 1/16 of an hour
x miles = ? ...1 hour

1/8 * 1 = 1/16 * x
1/8 = 1/16 * x     /*16
x = 1/8 * 16
x = 2 miles

The correct result would be 2 miles.
