Slope formula: [tex] \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1} [/tex]
Apply.
[tex] \frac{-1 - 2}{5 - (-6)} = -\frac{3}{11} = slope[/tex]

slope = difference in y / difference in x
slope = (2 --1) / (-6 -5)
slope = 3 / -11
slope = -3/11
